[Services](https://riccardonentwich.com/en/services/)Process Check

# Process Check: first know what pays off.

Together we look at where your processes lose time, what can be simplified or automated and what that would cost. Afterwards you know where to start, and whether a change is worth it at all.

- For

Businesses that know something could run better, but not where to start

- Scope

One process in detail, or several processes in an overview

- Duration

One session of 2–3 hours, results after about two weeks

- Result

Recommendation, cost estimate and a roadmap in stages

- Price

€750 or €1,250 plus VAT, fixed price, partly credited if you go ahead

01 When it helps

## For two starting points.

You do not need to know the solution. It is enough to know that something is costing unnecessary time.

### One process is a nuisance.

You know where it sticks

- One task noticeably costs time every week.
- You suspect it could be simpler, but not how.
- Before you invest, you want to know whether it pays off.

### Lots of loose ends.

You do not know where to start

- Mail, emails, quotes, filing: something is done by hand everywhere.
- Doing everything at once is not possible, and it does not have to be.
- You need an order that makes economic sense.

Already clear on the problem and the goal? Then you do not need a check, and we start straight with implementation. [More on process automation](https://riccardonentwich.com/en/services/process-automation/)

02 Options

## One process or the overview.

We work out which option fits in the initial call.

| | One process | Overview |
| --------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Starting point | One particular process noticeably costs time. It is open whether and how that can change. | Lots of loose ends. It is open where you should start. |
| What we look at | One process in detail: steps, systems, volumes, exceptions. | Up to ten processes in an overview, the most important one in detail. |
| Joint session | About two hours, on site or on screen. | About three hours, on site or on screen. |
| Result | Current and target process, cost estimate, data protection assessment, a clear recommendation. | Plus the process map: all processes assessed, with an order and a roadmap in stages. |
| Price | €750 plus VAT | €1,250 plus VAT |

If you then commission the implementation, I credit €250 or €350 towards the project.

Fixed price. On site in southeast Bavaria and the Munich area at no extra charge.

03 Process

## One session. One result.

It takes about two weeks from the initial call to the recommendation.

1. 01

   ### Initial call

30 minutes by phone or video, free of charge. We work out whether a Process Check makes sense and which option fits.

2. 02

   ### Prepare

You describe the processes in advance with the [Process Profile](https://riccardonentwich.com/en/insights/process-profile/). If you like, you can record how often and how long with the [“Measure First” tracking sheet](https://riccardonentwich.com/en/insights/measure-first-tracking-sheet/). Both are optional.

3. 03

   ### Joint session

Two to three hours, on site at your premises or on a shared screen. We look at the processes as they really run, ideally with the people who do them every day.

4. 04

   ### Assessment

I assess what can be dropped, simplified, solved with your existing software or automated, and what that would cost one-off and on an ongoing basis.

5. 05

   ### Results meeting

60 minutes. We go through the recommendation together and agree on the sensible next steps. You receive everything in writing, next steps included.

04 Result

## You know where to start.

A few pages that make sense. Not a presentation for the drawer.

Example of a process map with invented data: seven processes, assessed by benefit, effort and data, with a recommendation and an order.

Process map · example Example Metalworks Ltd

1. Capture enquiries from the inbox Benefit high · Effort medium · Data uncritical automate Stage 1
2. Order confirmations into the ERP Benefit high · Effort medium · Data uncritical automate Stage 2
3. Follow up on quotes Benefit medium · Effort low · Data uncritical system can do it now
4. File delivery notes Benefit medium · Effort low · Data uncritical simplify first now
5. Approve incoming invoices Benefit medium · Effort medium · Data check automate Stage 3
6. Assess complaints Benefit low · Effort high · Data check stays with people
7. Special costings Benefit low · Effort high · Data uncritical not worth it

Recommendation Two steps right away, without new software. Then stage 1: capture enquiries automatically.

What you receive

- Process mapOverview option only

All processes we looked at on one page, assessed by benefit, effort, cost, data protection and risk.

- Current and target

The most important process, how it runs today and how it could run in future.

- Cost estimate

What implementation costs one-off and what comes on top on an ongoing basis: licences, AI usage, support.

- Data protection

Which data is affected, where it would go and what needs to be clarified for that.

- Roadmap

What can happen right away, what comes in which stage and what you are better off leaving.

05 Afterwards

## Three ways. You decide.

The Process Check is also a way of getting to know each other on a real process. You see how I work, I see whether I can really help you. Afterwards both sides decide freely whether working together is a good fit.

- Implement.

For the first stage you receive a quote with a fixed scope, price and end date. I credit €250 or €350 from the check. I implement it myself and train your team. [More on process automation](https://riccardonentwich.com/en/services/process-automation/)

- Carry on yourself.

The result is yours and useful even without me. You can implement it with your team, your IT service provider or your software vendor.

- Do nothing.

If a change is not worth it, the result says so. That is a good decision too, made on a clear basis.

06 Questions

## Frequently asked questions.

On price, preparation, data and what happens afterwards.

What is a Process Check?

A Process Check is a short, paid analysis of one or more business processes. Together we look at how a process actually runs today, where time is lost and what can be dropped, simplified, solved with existing software or automated.

The result is a written recommendation with a cost estimate and a roadmap. Afterwards you know where to start and whether a change is worth it at all.

What does the Process Check cost?

€750 plus VAT for one process, €1,250 plus VAT for an overview of several processes. Both are fixed prices. An on-site session in southeast Bavaria and the Munich area costs nothing extra.

If you then commission the implementation, I credit €250 or €350 towards the project.

Why is the Process Check not free of charge?

The initial call is free. That is where we work out whether a check makes sense. The check itself is real work: a joint session, an assessment and a written result that you can keep working with even without me.

Do I have to start with a Process Check?

No. If the problem and the goal are clear, we go straight into implementation. The check makes sense if it is still open whether and where a change pays off, or if there are several loose ends and no order yet.

What do I need to prepare?

Nothing is required. It helps if you describe the main processes in advance with the Process Profile and if the people who do them every day join the session. If you like, you can measure how often and how long beforehand with the “Measure First” tracking sheet.

Does the session take place on site or online?

Both are possible. On site is worth it if paper, printouts or several workstations are involved. Otherwise a shared screen is enough.

What happens to our data?

For the check I look at processes, not at your data sets. Where examples are needed, real cases on screen or redacted documents are enough. I treat what I see confidentially.

For each recommendation, the result states which data would be affected, where it would go and what needs to be clarified before implementation.

What if automation is not worth it?

Then that is exactly what the result says. Often a process can be simplified without new software, or your existing system can already do the step. A recommendation to build nothing is a full result.

What happens after the check?

In the results meeting we agree on the sensible next steps, and you receive them in writing. Afterwards both sides decide freely whether working together is a good fit.

If you want to implement, you receive a quote for the first stage with a fixed scope, price and end date, with €250 or €350 from the check credited. The result is yours, and you can also implement it yourself or with another provider.

How is it paid?

The Process Check has a fixed price and is invoiced before the joint session.
