02 Entrepreneur

My own company. My own responsibility.

With tallycore I did what I do for clients today: understood an entire industry process and translated it into software.

Casting and model agencies work with many people involved, tight deadlines and information that goes back and forth between inboxes, lists and individual tools.

tallycore brings this process together in one platform, from the first enquiry to the invoice. What began as the solution to a specific problem has become a product in its own right, with packages that grow with the agency.

Management
Entrepreneurial responsibility for budget, priorities and partners
Product
Concept, UX and product management of the platform
Market
Positioning, marketing and go-to-market
Sales
Winning clients, costing quotes, developing client relationships

“That is why I know digitalisation not only from consulting, but with my own budget, my own priorities and my own responsibility.”

03 Background

Five disciplines. One view of the process.

For me, process work is the sum of everything that came before. That is why I see more in a process than the technology.

  1. 01

    UX & strategy

Web applications, native apps and websites: understanding users, structuring requirements, developing strategies.

For you: Solutions your team likes to use.

  2. 02

    Information architecture & design

Organising complex content and functions until they look simple.

For you: Processes you understand at a glance.

  3. 03

    Online marketing & sales

Lead generation, CRM, pitches, quotes and costing.

For you: Processes that start with the customer, not in the system.

  4. 04

    Digital product management

Prioritising, deciding, shipping: as team lead and with my own product, tallycore.

For you: The smallest sensible step first.

  5. Today

    Business processes & automation

Since 2023: workflow automation, interfaces and AI workflows in practice.

For you: Routine runs automatically. Decisions stay with people.

04 Approach

How I look at a process.

The systems stay. What changes is the manual work before, between and after them.

Example: an enquiry by email passes through two existing systems. Four steps: see the process, spot the friction, check the benefit, choose the technology.

  1. Before: details from the email are retyped by hand. Worth it, will be taken over automatically.
  2. System A stays.
  3. Between: data is transferred by hand. Worth it, will run via an interface in future.
  4. System B stays.
  5. After: following up stays with people.

05 Client voice

“In the end, it actually gets done.”

Riccardo worked with us to sharpen our positioning, analysed our internal processes and documented them properly, built effective landing pages and started the first improvements to our business processes, including marketing and sales. What convinces me most: he brings our employees along – motivating, and on an equal footing. Working together is efficient, and in the end it actually gets done.

06 Value

What you get out of it.

Experience only counts when it changes something in the project.

  • Hands-on

I don’t just design concepts, I implement them myself. From the first conversation to the running process, you have one point of contact.

  • Experience

Almost 20 years of digital projects for mid-sized companies and corporations, from an agency and from an entrepreneur’s perspective.

  • Combination

UX, product, sales and technology in one person. No friction losses between consultant, designer and developer.

  • Entrepreneurial view

I ask first whether a change pays off. And I say so if it doesn’t.

  • Bringing people along

Your team is involved from the start. That is why a solution actually gets used day to day.

  • Network

If specialist knowledge is needed, I bring in experienced partners. Responsibility stays with me.

What you will not get from me: a tool decided in advance. AI where a simple rule will do. Percentage promises before anyone has seen your process.
